A truly flat floor so when you fold the back seats up to load cargo inside there is not even a small hump to deal with.

Also, fold up seats that still have space behind them for a "gun case" (I have a buried wire/valve locator in a gun case style box and no place to store it)

My new F150 has flat floor under rear seats. Gun case would fit under seats when they are down.

How about a real bumper. I had to replace front bumper on 2004 F350. Wrighed like 5 pounds. Made of recycled beer cans. The new $60,000 f350 i saw on lot had plastic bumper....really? As for dodge. They need a built in tow truck so it can tow itself to shop. My 1994 dodge cummins is a real POS. Ive spent more in repairs than ive spent on the truck. But my wifie wont let me squash it.
A real bumper would be great like the ones on medium duty trucks. I wanted to see if my bus had a open or limited slip rear end so I pushed the front bumper against a dirt pile until it broke traction. It didn't hurt a thing. Try that with a plastic or sheet metal bumper. Btw it's a limited slip rear end.

I would like a "power down" type cruise control.(gives you control of your speed up to a preset point) Conventional cruise control is fixed speed and will pitchfork you into corners on rural roads.

This would be cool. Maybe even three or four buttons on the dash that you could set to a certain speed. On a recent trip through Kansas I encountered 65 mph, 55 mph, 45mph, and 35 mph a lot as I went through all the little towns. Was constantly fiddling with the cruise control. Would be cool to have preset speed buttons to push.

Another idea would be a built in cooler. I always carry a small ice chest in the floorboard of the back seat for my drinks and lunch at work. There is room to have one built in and flush with floor similar to the little storage compartments the dodges have. It could have a drain that goes straight to the ground.

There also seems to be a lot of wasted space in the center consoles of modern trucks. My 16 GMC has a huge center console thing and there is storage in part of it like the door that opens where the arm rest is but the area under the cup holders is boxed off with no access to it. This area is pretty large too and just wasted.

I offered to help a guy hook a square baler to his GM pickup a few weeks back. He declined because he had a camera focused on the trailer hitch. I did adjust the jack height while he backed in.

When I have my bed cover on I have a camera with a fisheye lens that looks down on the rear like that so I can see the whole rear bumper and anything close. With nothing in the hitch, I have another camera in the hitch receiver looking back, when I hitch something up I move the camera to the top of the hitch.

Dual ride height air suspension. High ride offroad, low aerodynamic profile at highway speeds.

They are working on adaptive cruise control. Some are camera based others are radar based. I don't know how far they intend to take it but they are working on it. A camera based system could handle curves and such easily. I don't think the radar idea is going to get very far due to costs and the obvious flaw of having thousands of radar units running at the same time in the same place like rush hour traffic. You'd probably get RF burns and the radars would be interfering with one another. Besides they are only good for metal objects so wouldn't do squat for curvy roads.

My wifes 2013 Subaru Outback has adaptive cruise control works great, When on it will lock onto the vehicle in front of you and keep you at the same speed
that vehicle is going, you can select 3 different preset distances between the vehicles. Also has pre-collision braking, While monitoring the vehicles in front of you, EyeSight will sound an alert and flash a visual warning if there's danger of a collision. And it will apply the brakes automatically if you haven't already done so.

I wish they would come back with the 2 speed differential, one gear ratio for mileage and one for towing.

I want the floor to be flat entirely, not just under the seats.

Also, I would like to be able to store my case behind the seat even when the seats are up.

Heck I wish there was a quick and easy way just to take the whole rear seats out like you can the third row on a suburban. I need them in when at home with the kids but when I travel for work they would be better off removed.
