Our Walmart had some .22's the other day. Picked up 2 boxes of 100 Winchester hollow points for 9.47. Plus a box of 100 CCI .22 shorts for same price.

Today the only thing left was a few boxes of 50 CCI stinger hollow points for 6.47.

Nothing bulk.

Deception, plain and simple. You're visually lead to believe you're still getting a big box, or brick, of ammo, but you're actually getting less for the same money.
Similar to how all the 5# bags of sugar are now 4# bags, but the price is still the same.

I have seen size reductions on lots of things and even contacted the companies who were doing it. Left several complaints but it only seemed to increase my stress so I stopped going grocery shopping with my wife.

The lightening, thinning, shortening problem is in many product lines though. Wonder if the happy shareholders are buying the same products from companies ripping us off.

Watching the latest Shooting USA they did a spot on the 5th Edition Ammo Encyclopedia from Blue Book. Looked pretty neat ... info on every cartridge ever made.

The guy that wrote it actually graduated high school with Jim Scoutten.
