What's the best bait for armadillos?

I have caught several ground hogs in my barn. The barn door doesn't go all the way to the ground, but besides that I don't think there are any other openings. I use a 2x12 to block off that opening except the last 6" and then put trap there. I have caught dozens of them like that without any bait. A cat also fell victim to this trap.

What's the best bait for armadillos

With the risk of being regarded the smart alack I am....I'd say something like a sign that says:
"free armadillo ****"
" armadillo happy hour"
"armadillo bordello"
" free drinks for armadillos"

etc., etc...

That would only catch the male dillos.

I really thought it would be obvious but...
"ladies night"
"armadillo chippendale night"
or the all encompassing "free snacks for armadillos"
etc., etc...

Had some visitors last night that I am guessing was a family of armadillos. I have a live trap but never had any luck with it. Any suggestions on what to bait it with to catch armadillos?

We have had luck using ripe bananas. Of course, it also attracts skunks. Good luck. They have destroyed our yard.

Well it turns out my armadillo problem is a feral pig problem. I guess that explains the damage better. Maybe some signs that read " o-Nay espassing-Tray "

That's what I was thinking, but wasn't sure because the damage was so minimal for hogs. The Armadillos around here just dig holes in the ground, they don't tear up an area like that. Hogs around here dig deeper into the ground and make it look more like a war zone. I've found holes several feet deep, and piles a foot or more high. They seem to be the worse during the heat of the summer. I'm guessing there is less food out there for them, and they become more aggressive digging to find something to eat.

Turns out I have an old friend and co-worker that still traps hogs. He told me to put out some corn where the tracks were coming in and they will stop there to feed tonight. He is bringing the trap tomorrow to start catching them.
