I have always been a Chevy/GM owner and we have been looking to get a new truck.
We looked at a lot of new & used trucks and the more we looked we found out we could buy new for the same price or maybe even less in some cases than buying used.
We also found out that we could get a nice 3/4 ton Ram for the price of a 1/2 ton GM. So that's what we ended up buying.
It's not fully loaded but still has a lot of nice options and was bought for less than a 1/2 ton Ford or GM that was already sitting on the lot. I think part of the difference in the prices is that Ford & GM both had more trucks with "option packages" instead of specific options that interested me.
Either way we are now driving a Ram 2500 with the Cummins diesel and so far after almost a week I am impressed.
Here it is.
