I dont think. Bearing still spins freely. Abuse is what caused this. It has a front loader on it and dad was using it to pull out rocks and tore it up. If you need something broke he's the man for the job.

On the one hand I have recommended that guy many times when the only parts that exist will have to be sourced from Japan. He's the go-to specialist for that. Expect this to be expensive, he spends a lot of time on research.

On the other hand I've only bought from him once. He's a legitimate Yanmar-USA parts dealer so when I bought the first Yanmar I bought a replacement genuine Yanmar clutch safety switch from him. The rubber accordion shield disintegrated the first week. It must have been ~30 year old stock. "Sorry, no returns on electrical items".

well. I have used my 4 wd for many things. It has held up so far

Ouch! I think the side force of the ring and pinion skipping probably damaged the bearing rather than the other way around. We have them In Australia (saw one advertised) What were you doing when it ate the CW&P?

Are there more of these in the US? Google located several offered for sale in Europe, mostly the eastern portion, but I don't think I saw one here.

If they are that rare here then jump on any parts offered!
