So i finally found a truck i wanted to take the load off my 1 ton Dodge dually. Got a deal to good to pass up missed a few other deals cause my bank is run by idiots(another story) lol But I found this one right up the road from me at a farm equipment dealer. It had a Grain-o-vator on it. He priced me just the truck so i jumped on it. It's a one owner 1976 Ford LN750 with a 361 4v, 5 speed Clark trans and Eaton 2 speed rear with 6 new tires. It came from a feed store in Wabash Indiana Still had the build sheet, Vin plate card and all kinds of paper work plus the owners manual. I had the dealers son sand blast the rims, hubs, frame and paint them an clear coat. I'm still torn on weather to paint the cab/hood or not. Its been more work then i had for seen but, I've had to add new and rewire all the lights, put the fenders on it, sandblasted the intake and valve covers which i painted Factory Ford blue in high temp paint. I have still have to take the bumper off heat it and straighten it i have some custom work in mind to add some looks to it. Parts have been crazy hard to find but, i have found everything I've needed so far now to get it inspected and bolt on the Goose-neck hitch, put her to work and ready for some tractor show's lol enjoy!!

We had almost the same truck as a dump truck. Same year F700, same motor, tranny, rear axle, ect. It was bullet proof.

The only issue we had was when we got it it was equipped with a Holley 4 Barrel Carb that had a Governor. It was problematic. Once swapped out it was much more enjoyable.

very cool truck, hope it works well for you! Are you going to put some sort of bed on it?

Real nice truck. You did good. Now have fun building the flat bed and installing the hitch.

I had a 2004 Isuzu NPR flatbed (8 ft wide x 14 ft long) with the 6 liter GMC LQ4 engine and automatic tranny when I owned my 10 acre ranch. That was a real nice farm truck. Had a lot of fun with it.

Good luck

Paint looks fine for a work truck but for taking your tractor's to the show's, well, I think a nicely painted rig will reward you with lots of good conversation.

Great find. Years ago I had an F-750 dump with the same power train. Great working setup. I wish I had have had the Louisville cab - much easier to work on with the tilting hood. (Mine had replaced an LN-600 which was just too light for the job.) This should be a real good workhorse for you.

Thanks all I'm really hopeing to have it on the road next week if i can get the windshield wipers to work for the inspection. Right now i'm gonna just put a 30k Flip over semi Gooseneck hitch on it and diamond plate the top of the frame rails front to back not gonna put a bed on it as of yet. I talked with my uncle who does Paint work and I hope to get it painted this winter or next year still cant decide if i'll keep it Stock colors or go Ford Blue and white to match my Ford 8000 tractor.
