All it wants....Getting rid of a Locust stump I dug out NH<img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=479350"/>Boomer41 <img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=479351"/>

That's a sharp tractor! Is that made by New Holland? Reminds me of an LS.

Recently imported some collapsible, palletized wire crates for our firewood:

Each crate holds about 1/4 cord: I might be shy 1/4 cord in that shot- tractor struggles to lift a crate that's filled to the brim with green wood; I'm close to purchasing a larger tractor that'll lift and stack these with ease. I am in the process of building a woodshed to stack these in.

As I need wood at the house I will use the tractor w/pallet forks to grab a crate and drop it off on the deck. Total wood-handling is drastically reduced.

I have a Polaris Brutus that I'll hook up a log splitter to and go out on the property and cut and split wood. The tractor will then come along with a crate and I'll fill and haul. I have a small dual axle trailer that is towable behind the Polaris; I can load it with one or two crate (have only done one so far); the bed of the Polaris is supposed to handle a pallet -it'll carry up to 1k lbs, so maybe another one there. Here's a picture of the Polaris with the trailer hooked up to it (had just picked up the trailer -FREE!- and have since put on new tires):

I had just grabbed my camera to get a picture of the tractor and crate (to give to the manufacturer of the crates) and the geese managed to get in the shot (flew in)!

Managed to get this winters supply stacked into racks ready to bring home. My helper helped with the first three than decided it would be more fun to change a wet patch of grass into a mud hole. Haha. image-3835095793.jpg image-1472763649.jpg image-3690103221.jpg

That's why my wood is already cut split and stacked. No mud.

Haha. I was high and dry but it's been raining nonstop for the last four weeks and everything is saturated. He's only allowed to drive the tractor in sight of where I'm working so he made a lot of tracks in that one small area.

It's a good thing I already have my wood done because my tractor is torn apart and someone stole my wood splitter. I'd be in rough shape if I needed to cut wood. image-1974875370.jpg

Yikes. What did you break? Too bad you didn't live closer, I just picked up a second splitter last month because it was too good a deal to pass up, I could sell you one. The stealing and vandalism around here is getting utterly stupid since the economy has crashed. The part that pisses me off the most it that it's not like they are stealing to feed their families, they are just doing it because they are worthless you know what's.

The seal to the front axel input shaft is blown. I have a pretty good idea who stole the splitter. He only has 14 warrants out on him...
