I am about to purchase a tractor and the CK3510 is a finalist. I have a few questions/concerns regarding the tractor-

The Kioti is the only tractor I have found with a single hydraulic pump. All other brands us a dual pump- one to the steering and one to the loader. From experience has anyone had issues with FEL functions under heavy load and steering? I was told by a factory rep that steering had priority- for safety reasons. Just trying to figure out why Kioti would do it different than all the others.

The FEL hydraulics are the most exposed of all the tractors I have looked at- Low and under right side floor board. Anyone had an issue with this and or found a fix- reroute lines or add a skid plate?

You were told incorrectly- I visualized the pump and can confirm it is not a dual pump.

from the Kioti website:

"the high capacity, efficient tandem hydraulic pump gives you smoother handling in heavy-duty working conditions and helps to reduce operator fatigue"

So far I've had no issues with mine.

Glad to hear you have not had any issues AMD.

Thanks Coobie. It's strange some of the info conflicts between Kioti sources (website, spec sheet, dealer, mechanic, factory rep etc). The parts diagram from a different model only adds to it.

So back to it-

Has anyone with the CK10 series had an issue where they lost FEL function momentarily or otherwise while steering? I assume this would only be under heavy load to the FEL and or steering.

Has anyone had an issue with the low hydraulic hoses on the right side below the floorboard? Is so, or as a preventative, has anyone come up with a solution?

As a side note, and this would depend on how Kioti plumbs the hydro system, a single pump could have an advantage. Say you were using a log splitter or hydraulic auger- you, in theory, would have more GPM, and therefore more speed while running these devices. I'm assuming one would not be driving or steering while doing these tasks.

The BX kubota uses a single pump, the steering gets priority but only up to a certain amount of flow, anything after that goes to the implements. I would imagine the Kioti uses the same type of system.
You will notice it at low rpm as the implement will be sluggish but you won't see any real change in performance while operating one or the other.

It won't be like you think, with full flow to implements when the steering isn't used.

For example, if the pump max flow is 9gpm and the steering gets 3gpm at full rpm but the engine speed is lower so the pump is only putting put 5gpm, then the implements will only see 2gpm flow. If it's possible for the engine speed to go low enough for pump to go below 3gpm then the implements will see nothing.

A lot of bx owners complained about the hydrulic due to misunderstanding about having to keep the engine speed higher, shouldn't be a problem on the 3510 as emissions will require the engine speed to be kept higher.

I have 175 hours on mine, with about 100 of them doing loader work. Loading, dumping, turning while lifting...every possible combination, and never an issue with loss of steering or lifting ability. I have 32 acres with only 1 or 2 being close to level, I even leveled a couple paths to the garden and chicken coop so my wife and I wouldn't twist an ankle. No issues with hydraulic lines either, they actually dip even lower near the right front where they connect to the loader hoses. I will have to agree that their website sucks for gathering any technical info, it's main purpose is obviously to sell equipment, and other sources don't have much information either. I may have to buy a repair manual if any need arises for accurate info. The owner's manual itself has several errors in it (location of drain plugs, HST filter number) as well.

Thank you for the info! Exactly what I was after with regards to the pump. Glad to hear the hoses have not been an issue.
