Anyone use/bought one of the wireless cameras? Pearl has one where the camera is a license plate frame. it transmits wirelessly to a small LCD screen than is mounted freely inside the car. The license plate camera has a solar powered battery in it. Not sure what the LCD screen runs on.

Thinking about getting one to tell where front corners are on our car. It has a rear view camera that works great but drivers cannot tell where the front corners are.

The "LCD Screen" is your smartphone. The camera is wireless connected to you phone.

Looks like the Pearl is not even out yet. Their site says "available for Pre-Order" RearVision: A Redefined Wireless Backup Camera System | Pearl

If he wants front corner coverage I don't think he wants any sort of rearview camera as it will be setup for a mirrored display as a mirror would show so the image would be backwards left to right. I don't know if I'd complicate it with the wireless stuff either as he's talking about adding a layer or two of complexity especially with multiple cameras just to save a few feet of wire. I have a system on my truck setup to handle up to ten cameras and it's all wired with a simply rotary select switch.
