I help out as a volunteer at a Horse Rescue. Two tractors a Kubota B Series and a 1986 Ford 3910.

The Kubota has hydrostatic 4 wheel drive.

Both have front end loaders.

I have a feeling I will need the advice of knowledgeable folks in the near future, as I will more than likely break something else eventually.

It is really bad how some people treat there horses. I got a couple donkeys to protect my chickens from a horse rescuer around here. One guy he had to pick up horses from went to jail after he let a couple die and just lay around to rot. Thank you for your devotion.

I have heard some stories that would peel paint. it is truly astonishing what some of these animals have survived. I love helping make it better.

Man I hear you. I just prepped and reseeded two paddocks with a Rye Fescue mix. I was surprised that any of it has come up at all, with only one good rain on it. Probably going to have to take a different approach in the spring, if I can get the disc harrow I've got up and running.

I consider one of my TB horses to be a rescue (by me). He was a walking bone-sack when I first saw him, with bite marks from being bullied from other horses. He has the most extreme case of 'parrot mouth' any Vet has seen and hadn't been seen by a dentist in (estimated) 12-14 years! I bought him as a companion horse to my other track-retired TB.

"Jack" is great now and is the boss-cocky of the two; a real gentleman when I'm amongst them.

I spent a few days in Perth and then a few days in Brisbane a long time ago. Really enjoyed it as folks everywhere I went were most hospitable.

I love helping those horses. The rescue where I volunteer has around 100. Some off the track, some seized by animal control, some just left by the gate. It has given me an appreciation for how difficult it can be to get a horse back into shape. It can be quite a chore. Glad you took Jack on!
