Anyone use Rottla T-6 in their small Kubota tractors?

I always used the Kubota oil in this tractor when I owned it, I sold it to a friend and he want's to use the synthetic Rottla T-6, anyone see any problems with this?

I use it in my bx1860.

I don't see a problem switching. In the early years of synthetic they said you would cause leaks if you switched from conventional. Now I don't think it matters as much.

I've used it for ten years in my tractor and motorcycles...

Once I hit 50 hours I change to Amsoil. I have found that the engine is much quieter in the winter with the synthetic. Just my 2 cents worth.

I use it in my BX25. No issues.

I use T6 also, almost 800 hours. No problems

I switched to T6 a few years ago and noticed immediately that it was smoother/quieter, especially at low rpm.

I have a BX2360 and am getting ready for my first oil change. Is Rotella T6 SAE 5W-40 OK to use for this change. I live in Massachusetts and my tractor is garaged ?

Not a oil expert. In general make sure it has the right specs such as

(Below 32°F use SAE10W or SAE10W-30 or 10W-40) (32°F to 77°F use SAE20 or 10W-30 OR 10W-40) (77°F and above use SAE30 or 10W-30 OR 10W-40)

To get real detail and perhaps more important the specs in your manual may be similar to

(API Service Category: CJ-4, CI-4 Plus, CI-4, CH-4, CF-4, CF, CE, CD, CC/SL, SJ)

As far as Google goes the numbers and info above are correct for your unit. Just find the specs for your unit year made to make sure. Rotella brand has a great reputation.

Yes it OK for your tractor!
Actually better than you really need.
Factory fill is 10W30 conventional oil.
Kubota or Shell Rotella 10W30 would be perfectly adequate for your garage-kept tractor at a lower cost.
But,since we love our tractors, why not use the good stuff?
Good Luck!
