I just turned 30 haha. Do the "L" series Kubota's have the rocker pedal for the HST or the side by side pedals? I tested a BX25D and I HATED the rocker pedal. That's what sent me towards Massey in the first place.

I believe all the Kubota HSTs use the rocker pedal. Ive gotten use to it, its not bad.

The L2501 does not have a DPF

That's what I was looking for. Definitely a selling point IMO.

I think so too. Sometimes rocker is on the left, sometimes on the right.

In EVERYONE'S opinion. And that is the slot Kubota designed the L2501/HST to fill.

A few hours ago, I was heavily leaning towards the Massey 1526, now I really am leaning towards the L2501. I just don't know if I can deal with that stupid rocker pedal. I really wish it was an option...

If youre trying to keep the ball of your foot on the forward part and your heel on the reverse part at the same time and just flexing your foot.....imo youre doing it wrong. My foot is big enough to do that but I dont. When going forward I have my heel planted on the deck between the rocker and when I wanna go backwards I just shift my foot back and put the ball of my foot there and push the reverse with my heel.

After you do it a few times it becomes second nature and pretty smooth.

That's the way I was doing it. I guess I really just need to get the seat time and get used to it. What about tires? I won't be doing any pavement driving so I'm thinking about R1 AG tires but, most of the tractors I see with FEL's have R4's. Any reason to avoid the R1's? I will be doing a bit of snow removal as well and thought they would dig better in the snow.

Since I'm building a track, I will be in mud/loose dirt quite often. I don't need a backhoe for the tractor since my dad has a tow behind trencher/hoe.
