Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll get back on that track. But as noted, I'm going to be focusing on front-end work for a while. However...

How does the quick attach play with an hydraulic side link? I'm pretty sure that Eric has the hydraulic side link: didn't read that he'd had any issues. One day I'll have the side link, but that would likely be further out than a quick hitch.

Boy does this stuff all start to add up! (and I've yet to write my check for full payment on my new machine!)

A hydraulic top link is far more useful than a hydraulic side link.

I have only one video that shows my using a hydraulic side link but a hydraulic top link is far more useful with just about any three point attachment.

Eric, yes, absolutely. I've discovered this from your postings as well as from others'. For sure, though, being able to tilt a blade would be good. For now, however, having three rear remotes will allow me to have that top-link, grapple or whatever up front, and provide hydraulics for something on the rear.

Tractor is on the truck and heading out. Should be here in a matter of minutes. Right in the middle of a downpour:(

The three remotes were installed. I didn't seem able to get that confirmation from the sales guy.

Few things that detracted from this momentous occasion (other than the weather- thankfully there was a slight lull in the storms right when the delivery showed up and it wasn't until after the truck left and I'd pushed around some gravel that the storm kicked back up and I lost power at the house!):

1) The headliner looks like a grease monkey was messing about. I've got grease stains here and there; hoping that it'll clean up (shades of my wife's car when I got it- lots of cleaning of the headliner, which, ironically, is also flannel gray);
2) Sun visor is cracked (I started to drop it down very lightly and spotted the crack- obviously the pivoting mechanism is too tight and someone already tried to overcome that friction with too much force);
3) Delivery guy wasn't very up-to-date on how these tractors operate; not a big deal, but if it were going to someone who was a novice tractor person (and didn't already do their homework on these things) then it would be more of an issue.

I noticed right away that the rear window has the heating stuff in it. I had thought that I'd read that folks had issues with fogging up and such. Perhaps the issue is with the front? I started to fog up a bit (condensation) but turned the fan on/up and that tended to take care of things. Feels rather posh sitting there inside the cab and out of the weather.

I spent just a enough time operating it to make sure that things seemed to function OK. Unable to get time to really go over it in any details though: weather was a factor as well as time. Wondering what things that folks recommend scrutinizing on a new one of these (common issues). I already know to loc-tite the bucket level indicator (just hoping that I'll remember to do it!).

Here's some pictures of the "paw prints" on the headliner:

Congratulations on receiving your new tool (toy). I'd definitely notify the dealer of the discrepancies that way they can replace, repair and correct their issues. I reckon every dealer has its own delivery protocol. I picked up mine from the dealer and it was a great presentation when I walked in. Tractor had been detailed and was emmaculate. Now go enjoy your workhorse.

You know, if I had one of those "things" hanging off the back of my tractor I'd be getting in a ton of trouble!:laughing: I could show you pictures of my digging activities (with excavators), but I don't want the EPA knocking at my door!:eek:

Pretty hard to get stuck with a bucket on the front and a backhoe on the back. NOT looking forward to getting my backhoe-less tractor stuck!

Looks very smart...
I have to say that our little NX6010 HST is getting far more use than either of our other tractors.
The cab is a good place to be, and the small turning circle, lift capacity, the ease of the HST for the loader and the diminutive size - even on big floatation tyres, means it's the first tractor to get used...
Went across some really wet clay ground the other day (almost marsh) - and was concerned that I was leaving a slight rut in the turf....
Later the same day, I went across on my ATV and nearly got stuck, rutting up the ground.. Just shows what little ground pressure a lightweight tractor like this exerts with big tyres.
One of our better purchases I think...

Share a photo of your tires some time.
