CK35HST 3pt lift unresponsive until 70-100% Control travel

Upon first lift, mine is the same way, but once lifted it will raise and lower correctly. How is yours once lifted? Can you lower to say 4, then bump it up to 5 and have it adjust. Also in checking mine it responds much quicker at higher RPM. I usually run 1800 to 2000 when working

Relief stuck open part way or a cyl piston bypassing real bad could also be bad o ring at the 3pt control valve mount. Check your pressure 1st and see what you are getting.

To all,

Thanks for the replies.

There is no air in the system.

The tractor has been doing this since it was delivered in 2008. It now has 800 hours on it.

Pressure is fine. I can chain the lift down and pick the front off of the ground as high as I want, no problem there. It will hold position as long as I want with the engine off, no leakdown.

RPM does not make a difference in speed of lift of operation.

The CK does not have draft control that I can locate nor do I see the control rod for one.

I'm going to cut the handle off and re-weld it into a lower position to see if that will give greater range of motion.

Cheers,

Before I would cut, I would check the lineage and see where it stops. You can pull the cover and check extra movement before cutting it

The service manual has an adjustment procedure. I'd try that before cutting and welding.

Just adding my 2 cents - our 2004 CK 30 has been like that from new - just the nature of the beast !

Could you please post how to do it.
Thanks

Thanks
Appreciate the help. Perhaps Raypope could use it. There is an adjustment to be sure the arm is set on the shaft correctly. Plan to try the adjustment this weekend.

How did you make out? I see an adjustment rod on my CK30 but it was getting too dark to dig into it. I get what I think is full range of motion on the arms even though it only happens between the 7 and 10 settling on the lever.
