Could you tell me the absolute maximum height of tractor...and which tires are on it?
My door is 96".... I have a CK 27 with a cab....it's a close fit, but a little underpowered for what I would like to do

I just measured it with a 2x4 laid across the highest point on the roof. I get 96 and 1/4 inches with industrial tires 14.9 by 24

Well it's been a little over 2 months now since I got my new to me tractor home. Since then I have put 27 hours on it, moved a ton or more of manure and plowed snow in -18 deg C weather (loving the cab).
It has taken some time to adjust to a hydrostatic tractor, the hydro whine for one compared to the gear driven tractors. I was finding the loader operated a bit slower than what I was used to until I set my throttle at 2400 rpm instead of 2000, made a noticeable difference. I am pleased that the block heater works especially after sitting for 2 days at the minus 18 temp.
My only complaints with it as a used tractor is the windshield leaks a little water around the seam, water comes inunder the plastic edging. I need to load the tires as it is going to be an ongoing issue if I don't and I need to get a cordless pole chainsaw to address some low hanging branches that never used to be an issue with my open station.
All in all it has been a good investment in my winter mental health and I hope to have many years of service out of it.

They certainly are nice machines. I'd be willing to bet you that the hydrostatic wine is not as loud in warmer weather.

I got a cordless ryobi (since I am invested in the ryobi 18 volt world for everything else) for Christmas. While I have only made a few cuts with it, I was impressed with the speed it cut branches for a cordless pole type chainsaw. They came down in a hurry. Not much of of a real test, but the speed it cut was way better than another brand of cordless chainsaw I have (earthwise) which I don't think I am going to invest in another battery for. A man has got to standardize on batteries and manufactures. The Ryobi is about 9 fool long so I can reach up there around 15 foot easily. It added one more battery to my collection, and of course another charger which I dont need.

Also check which range you are operating the tractor in. if you don't need the forward speed of Medium alway operate the tractor in Lo range for the most torque and least amount of whine. Switching to Med range only when you need speed, and Hi is strictly for road transport.

Previously, I never had much respect for battery chain saws. But I bought a Greenworks 40v pole saw last year and was quite amazed. It is not heavy duty but does a great job on limbing and cutting up prickly stuff. I thought I would need a spare battery but the one battery has more stamina than I do. The chain and drive gear look a bit flimsy and the pole has some movement. So far I wrecked one chain when it got pinched. The tech data that came with the saw was minimal. Like any chain saw, a sharp chain is the key to good cutting.

I have noticed the whine is less after I let the tractor warm up. I think the newer ones with link pedal would be nice so it's not always revving at 2000 rpm or more, but maybe a steady rpm is better on a diesel rather than an up and down change. I know that I look forward to many hours out of the cold plowing and a reprieve from all the annoying horse flies in the summer. I really likeminded the 3 point hitch setup with the external raise and lower lever on the back and the extendable drawbar arms. These were all must haves for me and being a slightly. older tractor I like that the DK came with draft control which is now optional.

So today I have had a little disappointment with the dk40. We got a bunch of snow with lots of drifts and I was so excited to go plowing. I let it warm up good and started to clean the farm yard out then a couple neighbors. After about 2 hours of plowing I suddenly noticed greenish brown stains in the snow. I stopped and looked under it and saw oil leaking out of a steel hydraulic line under the left side of the tractor. This line attaches to the housing where a orange coloured filter is attached. I wasn't far from home so I got it back to the yard and further inspection has revealed that it seems to have a hairline crack or a pin hole in the weld where the tube is welded to the banjo fitting. I'm debating if I should get it rewelded or get a new line. The line comes from the front of the tractor to the filter housing and I think it's called the cooling tube line.

That filter is the hydrostatic filter, it is a high pressure filter, About 265 psi If I remember correctly.
