Hiw many tiimes has your tractor been in the shop?

I have a 2003 Deere 4410, with the 60" 7 Iron Deck and a 430 FEL. To date it has nearly 1500 operating hours (mostly mowing time) yet has never required dealer service nor repairs or maintenance I could not perform myself. Aside from required oil, filter, air, fuel, etc. changes that I did as well as hydro system fluid and filter changes and drive belt and coolant changes, it has NEVER spent a minute in the shop. EVER. I have nothing but utter praise for the quality Deere builds into the products it sells, and although I am reasonably well skilled with maintaining a CUT....much of the credit for zero downtown must be attributed to the JD brand. How many of you can say the same for what your CUT might be?

My International hasn't been in the shop for 25 or 30 years. My John Deere hasn't been in the shop since I bought it new about 10 years ago.

<touch wood> Zero hours in the shop for the 4105 since purchased new (3.5 years). All maintenance done by yours truly.

Notice the spread of color?? It's actually unusual to find a tractor that's required "shop time". At least in the quality brands.

I bought my first tractor in 1979. I've owned several brands. I've never taken one to a shop for repairs.
