Hiw many tiimes has your tractor been in the shop?

Had the 8N for 35 years or so, never in shop (parked in the shed), the 1734E has never been in any shop but mine since I received it (ROPS too tall for shed so it gets to sleep in shop).

Bobcat/Kioti was in the shop at just over 100 hours with a 3 point issue. I sold it when it got back. Nothing but praise for Bobcat of the rockies who took care of my issue even though I did not buy from them (my dealer was bought out by Butler CAT).

I've never had any piece of equipment in the shop. I have performed some major repairs myself. I'm not a fan of paying someone to work on my stuff.

My Kubota salesman said that selling a new tractor is a way to loose a friend, because he may never see that person again. ... So, every now and then I used to look him up at the dealership to say "Hi". He has since retired. The parts people I'm on a first name basis.

Satoh Buck 1970? Hours? Never in shop
John Deere 110 TLB never in shop
Kioti LB1914 2004 ~700 hours never in shop
Kioti DS4010HS 2013 ~250 hours never in shop

John Deere 4300 broke in half every 1,000 hours doing back hoe work - I blame the manufacturer. Loader and backhoe were both too strong for the frame (oh wait, there was no frame in the middle, front held to rear only with transmission bolts)

Little less than 300 hours on my 3005, no issues. BX is about 950 hours, we have put about the last 100 on it, runs like a top. No known issues from the previous owner (friends).

I've had one go to a shop for the injection pump, replaced a couple of clutches myself on the older ones.
Other than that, routine maintenance & that's with some of them being 20 years+.

Both of my New Hollands go to the dealer for scheduled maintenance every 300 hours. The TC40DA has never needed any repairs that required dealer service. The Boomer 8N has been to the dealer for repair twice, once right after I bought it five years ago for a computer software upgrade which I could not do and this month for a failure to start that I could not diagnose. It turned out to be a faulty relay so it was a cheap repair. I had it serviced while it was there.

I have a 2003 Deere 4410, with the 60" 7 Iron Deck and a 430 FEL. To date it has nearly 1500 operating hours (mostly mowing time) yet has never required dealer service nor repairs or maintenance I could not perform myself. Aside from required oil, filter, air, fuel, etc. changes that I did as well as hydro system fluid and filter changes and drive belt and coolant changes, it has NEVER spent a minute in the shop. EVER. I have nothing but utter praise for the quality Deere builds into the products it sells, and although I am reasonably well skilled with maintaining a CUT....much of the credit for zero downtown must be attributed to the JD brand. How many of you can say the same for what your CUT might be?

My Fords and Bransons have never been in the shop....Total hour accumulation about 10,000.

Guess I'll be the odd man out. Currently at 300 hrs. Bought Jan 15 I think. Been in the shop 8 months out of the last 18, approx 20k in warranty work and dealer has put around 50 hrs on it testing it. There's a reason I ordered a new 5100e. This one has been a nightmare but I think all the bugs are worked out now.
