Yes, agree RNG, and our pastor reminds us occasionally to call the cashier by name (most of them have name tags) when we're checking out and ask them how they are doing, show interest... Often others are having a bad day and a caring voice can make a hugh difference for the positive.
Yesterday I mentioned my grand daughter's daycare issue, when my daughter was driving to the daycare to address the issue, she stopped to get a coffee, she was pretty stressed, not quite sure how she was going to handle the folks at the daycare. When she went to pay for her coffee, the guy behind her had already paid for it.. she starting crying, was a positive thing that likely changed her attitude for the better.
So, thanks to all of you that take time to care for others.
