B7300
Hi Guys, I'm new and this is my first post. I just bought a B7300.. Not new I know but the price was right and very clean.
I've done some searching here and google and I'm not quite finding the answer I'm looking for.
The tractor is just a tractor no loader, etc. However the fella that sold it to me found a snowblower mount 2652 that he threw in the back of my truck when picking it up.

Just after I got the tractor I fell into a great deal on a 3pt rear mount snowblower.. a few days later I got a lead on a front mount snowblower B2660, so I bought it. Once I got everything together I realized I had 90% of everything I need to hook it up. So I'm down to only figuring out if I'm gonna buy the 2056 loader valve kit or just run off the PTO hydraulics.

So here is my question:
According to the 2652 mount diagrams I found I can hook up the hydraulics to the 2056 hydraulic valve kit or connect one line to the PTO hydraulic port and use a plug relief in the other side of the ram. Not sure which I'm gonna do just yet but I can't seem to find the PTO hydraulic port... is this already on the tractor or do I need to install it?

Thanks for having me and I'm looking forward to gaining as much knowledge about these tractors as I can.

Welcome and good luck on your project. Sorry as I cannot assist you but I'm sure someone here will be able to

I'm confused by what you hope to run off the "PTO hydraulics." What do you mean by PTO hydraulics? A pump driven by the PTO or internal tractor hydraulic pump ? Your internal hydraulic pump on the tractor will have a port that can be used for things like a front end loader. I do not expect that a 7300 has any "remote" for hydraulic accessories.

If you are thinking of running a hydraulic motor off the tractor hydraulic pump using a remote or some other connection you will not have near enough hydraulic flow to drive a snowblower or other hydraulic motor application. I tried that with a larger MF tractor and FEL mounted cutter. My MF had around 17gpm flow and yours has about 3.9gpm. Won't work. If you find the right parts you can drive the snowblowers OK I would think with mechanical shafts from the PTO. If you are just talking about lifting/moving the blower your hydraulics should be very capable of that using a cylinder, control valve and flow from a port on the 7300. Parts or Owners manual should show you the port.

PTO hydraulics

Bolt on Hydraulic pump run off the PTO. Needed with the B7300 to run any sort of oil flow.

Gotcha. So what is the plan for driving the snowblower ?

Thank you for the replies. The 2652 is a mount for the 2660 snowblower. The mount includes a hydraulic ram. Which will let you go up and down. Per the 2652 diagrams it can be either hooked up to a loader valve or per its diagram to the "3pt, hydraulic valve". Which I think is referred to as "remote hydraulics" This would allow me to use the 3 pt hydraulic lever to raise and lower the snowblower. My orginal thought was to do this so I wasn't spending extra dollars right now on the valve. In the manual for the tractor it only talks about how to raise and lower the 3 pt in the rear and the aux hydraulic block. Nothing about a 3pt hydraulic valve. In which I thought was already on the tractor.

So, today I took an hour an went to the local Kubota dealer and spoke with one of the mechanics. First if I go this route I'd have to have it put in by them or buy the kit to do so.
Then we discussed the 2056 loader valve: which I assumed was only 1 spool (hopefully my terminology is correct) and then if I ever wanted a loader or actuator in the front I would have to buy another valve. I was wrong, its a joystick, so I would never have to buy another valve.

After considering the 2 options I think my best bet is to suck it up and buy the 2056 loader valve. In the long run I'd be better off. More flexibility in the future vs the "3 pt hydraulic valve"
