Any Christmas morning "projects"?

After opening gifts, my teenage daughter decided to "sleep in", so I vacuumed, cleaned the bathrooms and did two loads of laundry.

Any other noises could you have made? Maybe pressure washing near her window?

I sleep better with the washer drier going. Probably because I was put in the drier as a babay to keep me quiet. Some take their kids out for car rides to put them to sleep, I got to be in the bassinet on the drier when it was running.

Dan, you must be a 'rough and tumble' sort of guy?

You are right, but the heat must have caused some shrinkage somehow, causing some vertical challenges.

I came home to sparkles from a healthy white pine tree that cracked in half from the cold and fell on my power line on Christmas Day while I was visiting family friends. Meanwhile, my 90-year-old mother didn't want my sister (who came up north) to drive my AWD Infiniti because of "all the buttons" and my sister is in a ditch with her front wheel drive RAV. Thanks mom.

All to say that family reminds me that we all think different and different thinking isn't necessarily a good thing if thinking different means the risk of dying from exposure.

Wife and I set a old grain silo up for a well house Christmas morning. Fun project in the wind!

Neat idea, should be low maintence and last a long time.
That's the plan! Anchored it down yesterday and getting the electrical finished but it has been a neat project overall. Cheaper than building a actual pump house too!
