pretty much exactly what you said. Easier shifting, less whine. Most evident in hydrostatics, RTV in particular can be really fussy with the wrong HST fluids.

Yep, I noticed a marked improvement in my RTV. :)

Maybe I should use it in my "fake orange" machine. It is coming up on the 400 fluid change pretty quick. I wouldn't be against trying it.

If you have a shuttle shift or hydro, I'd look into it. Does Kioti have a syn or semi-syn fluid?

Not sure. Maybe investigate among other Kioti owners to see what they have done. Someone here must have used it.

I priced some of it today, and it is not much more than the 424 Mobilfluid I have been using, and by having a synthetic component, if I could get some cold weather flow improvements, I am seriously considering it. I notice some sluggishness until the fluid warms when it gets cold around here.

I looked up that 424 Mobilfluid that you mentioned Mobilfluid 424 and it meets Kubota's UDT fluid only and not the SUDT2. So I would say it's not synthetic.

Other tractor manufacturers need to get their act together and start making synthetic trans fluid to compete with Kubota.

Or we can just go to our friendly Kubota dealer and ask for some fluid!:) I ain't proud..:)
