Same reason EVERY woman needs at least 15 pillows on every bed, sofa, chair, etc. I, neither any other man, knows. Women. That's all.

And for the same reason that most women feel that a stack of $100 bills is something that has to be spent on buying MORE pillows, or whatever nick-knacks that are needed to collect dust.

Why do women think a stack of birch logs set beside the steps to the deck appear festive ? Today while clearing snow there was some awful bangs and thuds from the snowblower. The tractor engine lugged down momentary as chunks of kindling and sawdust flew from the chute and across the driveway. It took many swings with the sledge to hammer the snowblower's bent 3/8' steel back into shape.

Or putting the rubber door mat out before the storm? Had to unbolt auger shaft to get the pieces out.

Hmmm I guess there are some advantages to having a lasy assed wife who never does anything extra.

I can't stand this!! Then she gets mad when I toss all but one on the floor when I go to bed.

I thought I had the perfect solution! I read an article that said the 15 pillow thing was passe' and not longer in style...that you should chunk all of the pillows except 2 or 3! She simply ignored me.

Being a Michigan resident myself I understand snow piling atop outdoor items...but the stack should have been marked. I go through about 50 driveway markers every fall to mark what a blower or blade could hit here.

Nice house......Glad I don't have to move the white stuff around.

We don't get much snow to have to move around. If one has a two car garage with his and her side, create a berm on her side topped with the "FINDS", found when cleaning away the snow. Be sure and hide the keys to your vehicle and turn the garage door opener off for your vehicle before doing such though. Don't ask me how I know all this.
