Warranty claims kubota

I have had 6 Kubotas and 3 warranty claims on one of them, all of which required return trips to the dealer. Despite the sticker on the tractor saying transportation not covered by warranty, all 3 were covered completely. I assume the transportation is being covered by my dealer - the other unknown as to what's covered by my dealer and what's covered by Kubota but the net result has been no cost to me other than having to use one of our other tractors to fill in while mine has been in the shop 150 miles away. I have a good dealer, a very good dealer.

1 warranty claim on 5 different machines. Had a safety switch go bad, told my dealer he gave me a new one and I went home and stuck in on in 5 minutes. Much easier than moving the tractor and was handled great!

I've owned three Kubota tractors over the past 13 years. One used, two new. Haven't had any repairs.

My old L3200 had a leaky hose. Dealer ordered the replacement based on a photo. I picked it up & installed it as it wasn't urgent & would have been more work to load & haul the tractor. Only annoying part is the wanted the old hose back (not urgently though).

My new L4060 had a hydraulic issue the day after the sale. They had a mechanic out here the next day trudging through the snow. After he failed the hauler showed up that evening & brought it back a couple days later. Took care of all the hauling on their dime. I'm not sure if I'll get the same free hauling in the future, but I'm glad my dealer stepped up on it no questions asked on a day old machine.

Turned out to be an erratic issue due to the 3pt feedback adjustment. Apparently a couple after mine had similar issues too, but they caught those beforehand because of mine. Apparently it's the common issue on the Bs, but this is the first issue they've had like that on a grand. It was weirdly erratic which made troubleshooting hard.

Thats part of the warranty process. If they filed a claim on it, Kubota will periodically recall the warranty part to find out why it failed.

This is really encouraging. The biggest worry I've had is that my current tractor, a 3130, has been flawless for the 10 years I've owned it. I was not sure if I was lucky and got a 'queen' that was pure luck or if they were actually that good.

I want to acknowledge this forum...I've been a part of a lot of them and even operated one (SVT Mustangs) and this is one of the best I've seen. Congratulations to this fine community and those that operate the environment. Well done!

My new L series had a leaking bucket control spool; dealer picked it up and repaired with 2 day turn around but still leaking so; after my second phone call their mechanic shop foreman came out, 50 mile drive one way and fixed the problem in my shop. While there, he did a quick once over of all the fittings and hoses, checked fluids and air cleaner before leaving. All is good now. I like my dealers employees but not so much the owner who is poor at responding to phone calls. Still, I give him some slack as he is getting way up there in age besides, not sure I'd remember everything either.
