Another liquid tire question

/ Another liquid tire question #11
Try to find a way without liquid. That justs adds layers of other issues.

Try some farm auctions or junkyards for weights and know your bolt pattern so you know what fits. There is a weight website in Texas with all the bolt patterns and what fits what. It's an easy search.

Get some weight on the front on that tractor and things will improve. No way would I add liquid for one acre since you'll deal with it for a long time as residual. Plow slow and less deep and get it done that way.

When I've needed temporary weights I've filled containers with water or sand and carried them in the FEL or lashed them onto the top of my box blade. A 50 gallon drum holds about 400 lbs of water, half again if it's sand.

That works for certain things but plowing it won't. He needs it where the rubber meets the furrow.

Yep. For pulling ground engagement tools the added weight needs to be on the wheel/tire if at all possible.
