Somehow, it just hit me. I'd put a piece of rubber (well, neoprene or synthetic rubber) tubing on the overflow/breather on the belly tank of my diesel generator.
Would a dobber plug this off? Or would the diesel smell deter him? What to do?
I put the tubing on it because I overfilled the tank one time and created a mess. The tubing comes up to where I've other tubing that I use to pump fuel out of the tank to fuel my tractor. Just a high point to keep fuel from coming out there, but it has to be able to suck fuel in when the general takes it out.
Wonder if they make something where one could put silica gel into it so that any air sucked in would be dried?
