For that price I would surely go ahead and buy the 18650 battery charger and a handful of 18650 batteries which are clearly superior, pocket the change and forget about obsolete AA batteries.

His second choice will do both the LIon and NiMH and NiCd

After a 30 year military career at the sharp end of the spear there are four things I never compromise: Firearms, Communications, Utility Knife and Tactical Lighting. The problem with the 18650 battery they wont fit my TV remotes, headlamps etc, but AA & AAA fits ALL my necessary whizbang gadgets plus this that and the other thing...........

Yeah those are pretty good lights for sticking on something, I might get one later, but in the here and now I prefer the bunny light>>> LED Headlamps and Headlights <<<<because these now have one click on and one click off feature and usually when ever it get's on the dark side of day my hands are full of nuts, bolts, screws, nails, 2x4s, drills, saws, wrenches, and coffee. Then I can strap one these lights on my head and no matter where I look, I can find the nuts, bolts, screws, nails,............and what ever I might bang my head into.
