Just driving along in his snow plow....

Havine been both in a big rig having to be there or else as well as in a plow gang, the truck driver was in the wrong. First off, from the video, it looks like he was already too close to the plow truck. At least he did stop.

I did three years of interstate work driving truck with a salt spreader but no plow. We had limited forecasting info compared to these days. Anyway, we would take an educated guess then head out onto the interstate with a number of plow trucks with one salt spreader in the rear, totally blocking the interstate to plow both through lanes. I would run the center of the two lanes and spread salt.

Truckers would come up on one side or the other of me, sometimes both making for a very potential disaster. They could not get by me because of the plow trucks. The supervisor would call us off the next exit saying you know what, let them go, it's not worth the risk to us. We would go back to clearing single lanes and shoulders and being below 20 degrees or so, just trickle salt on the center of one plowed lane rather than have it blown off the road. No brine at that time.

Kept the towing boys busy pulling rigs out of the bush.

I plowed the 401 east of Toronto for 3 years and Hwy 400 for 4 as well as 5 years in Toronto before I saw the light and moved up to York Region where I did another 5 years plowing. I then saw the light and packed it all in. Now I plow for me and a couple of disabled neighbours at home.

For those of you who don't know, the 401 that runs across the top of Toronto is the busiest freeway in North America, and when we have crashes like that, it buggers up A LOT of traffic for a very, very long time!

And thank God for GPS! Many, many times on the 400 N. out of Toronto, which is a busy 6 Lane Divided Highway, we have been able to find routes around traffic tie ups. BUT, you've got to have a good navigator sitting in the seat next to you.👍

There is no excuse for that maneuver ! Snow plow working middle of the road and far right lane is clear for the semi . Instead he is blasting through the **** on the inside lane and looses it . ****** lucky there were not 4 or 5 cars involved also . And do yout hink he was going a little over what might be considered a safe speed . Just ******* amazing .

I hope they charge the driver.....fine him....take away his license and send him to jail. He should never be allowed to drive a truck again. The guy is an idiot and is a danger to others on the road.........he's lucky the plow driver was not killed.
