Used Kubota L2900 GST

I've been a bit blue, because I was hyped up to get the tractor, but it was the right decision to wait for now.

I have some drainage ditches that I want to put in, which would also involve removing a few stumps. When we first started to tame this lot, I rented a full-sized backhoe-loader for a weekend. After the snow is gone and the frost is finally out, I think I'll rent for another weekend. That will give me more power for the heavy work, anyway.

Thats not a bad idea. A full sized backhoe will work circles around any compact tractor. Get the heavy hitting out of the way with the rental. That'll give you more time to decide on what you want for sure and more time for that "just right" deal to come along. I waited about 3 months for my first tractor and probably 1 year for the next one.

a friend of mine has a kubota L225 DT 4x4,he says it needs a new clutch,i think the machine is about the year 1974 to a 1977 what would be the price i should offer to him ? he says a 1000.00 but need more info on this tractor.looking at it today ! thank you

I acquired a 80's L2900 GST with 1500 hours, loader last March for $9500.00. One of the most beefier chassis I've come across in my 35 years of owning over 15 tractors.
