Ftg05. Will 4 gal of antifreeze then 55 gal of water keep it from freezing in each tire? I know we live not far apart but even this weekend its gonna be in the 20's here. Sometimes it gets in the teens. Just wanna be sure i understand your post.
If you use the -50 degree F RV antifreeze, it should be enough - IMO. It was 20 here this morning, they're expecting 20 or less tomorrow, I'm not worried. it takes several days at below 20 for the 55 gallons to get to anywhere close to freezing.
However, if you have any doubts - use a couple more gallons per tire. At $3/gallon, no big deal over the life of the tire and/or tractor.
