Ford xx10 different series ?

I'm trying to buy an operators manual for a Ford 4110 tractor.

The seller has asked if it's a series 1 or series 2 tractor.

I've looked at TractorData.com - information on all makes and models of tractors but it only lists a 4110 built 1982/1983.

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the series 1 and series 2 please ?

Series II came out in 1986, improvements were mainly in hydraulic systems and cabs. a 6 speed forward with 4 reverse trans was added to the 3 cylinder line.
The easy way to tell from the info I have is to check the original paint job for the roman numeral II on the sides of the hood. This info came from my Ford tractor book so it is not a (definitive) answer.

If your tractor was built previous to 1986, seems like it must be a series 1? and from the 4110 description sounds like a 3610 with the bigger 201 cu inch engine vs. the 192 sized one.
Have to wonder if they are trying to determine whether it is a Ford or Fiat tractor?- 4030,4230

Do you think he might be referring to the 4110 as a series 1, and a 4120 as a series 2?

Yesterdays Tractor Co., and All States Ag. Parts, sell parts for both the 4110 and 4120 Fords.

A 4110 built for North America would be a '65-'75 LCG 3 cylinder tractor with a 4000 sized engine and 3000 style hydraulics, transmission and rear axle/brakes. I don't think your seller knows what you are asking for. Manuals are available from New Holland in hard copy or download.

My understanding is there is a 4110 series 1 and 4110 series 2. There are only subtle differences and the series 2 came immediately after the series 1.
The 4110 was built in the 1980s.

How about a unit number?
There was a 4100 built as two different models, the later being in the early 1980's. I'm not aware of a '80s 4110. 20 year New Holland dealership employee.

Tractor Data.com, DOES show a Ford 4110 for 1982-83.
Is that not correct?
