Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Anyone have their 10 inch tile/brick wet saw ?
It is just abut $280 (without stand or blade) and apart from the color of things like the plastic knobs it seems SO SIMILAR to the Kobalt one at Lowes for $500 (I think that one claims to have a laser pointer).

There is also an e-bay vendor selling the Chicago Electric (HF's house brand) one for $230 and change.

Awww ....Husqvarna has one at around $1300 but I'm only doing this bathroom ONCE.

Yes I have it, cut thousands of pavers. Don't recycle the used water from the tray, pump from a fresh bucket and empty the tray when it fills.

Oh Man... I do *HOPE* he is a "Pro", that makes me feel VERY modest.
(although I have seen some fantastic work done by very dedicated "amateurs".)

That is REALLY NICE work you did.
I appreciate the tip about fresh water - cheap pumps probably go south very quickly when fed stone, tile, glass dust.

I'm not a pro. First paver project. The compass rose took several months working on it part time, the entire paver circle drive took two years, but I did take a break in the middle to recover from a heart attack, and only worked when the weather was right. Looking at it from space it does point true north. The secrete is to get the boarders right with cement and steel and with the right slope for drainage then add a good packed rock base followed by coarse leveling sand, pack again, measure, cut and lay.

Picked up a HF 80A-DC Stick Welder over the weekend. Man, is that thing tiny. I didn't get a chance to use it yet, though, so it'll probably be this coming weekend. I've read some pretty good things about it. We'll see.

It wasn't on sale, unfortunately, at $170. They did have the flux core feed unit on sale for $99, and I almost went that route instead. For some reason, I just went with the stick.

...and I didn't have my free flashlight coupon with me. :banghead:

Anybody know anything about their weight distribution hitch?
