Anybody know anything about their weight distribution hitch?

You can get a Curt WDH for a little more money. I think the HF is a round bar system which is not as good as a reunion bar IMO.

I'm not a pro. First paver project. The compass rose took several months working on it part time, the entire paver circle drive took two years, but I did take a break in the middle to recover from a heart attack, and only worked when the weather was right. Looking at it from space it does point true north. The secrete is to get the boarders right with cement and steel and with the right slope for drainage then add a good packed rock base followed by coarse leveling sand, pack again, measure, cut and lay.

The HF Freight hitch is listed at $209.99. Using a 20% 0ff coupon would make it $168.99 + Tax.
On Adventurerv.net you can buy a Reese Pro Series INCLUDING a 1000lb. BALL for $189. Shipping is not free, but there is NO TAX, and the 1000# BALL is INCLUDED!
I cannot imagine why ANYONE would want to take a (safety item) chance with a Harbor Freight hitch when the Reese Pro Series price is nearly equal.
Reese sells quality stuff!
Harbor Freight tools quality are widely variable!

Walmart has it for 208. After their tax, or adventurer.net's shipping ($30), it's the same... $220. WITH the ball closes the gap for sure. I hadn't found that one. Thanks. That said, I don't know that the h.f. one is junk. I use their 3-ball hitch without second thought... Just asking.....

I do not know if the Harbor Freight one is junk either!
It may be fine! In fact it may even be made in the same Chinese factory.
That said though: When the insurance adjuster sees the Reese or Curt label, he will either not ask any more questions, or he will suggest to his company that they sue Reese or Curt.
In the case of Harbor Freight, I think he might have a very different attitude.
You might be "in good hands with Allstate", but maybe not so much, if the adjuster sees Harbor Freight towing equipment.
I use a 14,000# Equal-i-zer brand (expensive) for my equipment trailer, with a Curt 12,000# class IV hitch (heaviest available for my Suburban), and Curt 15,000# ball.
I am cheap!!!..... but I would not cheap out on hitch equipment for any trailer.

Picked up a HF 80A-DC Stick Welder over the weekend. Man, is that thing tiny. I didn't get a chance to use it yet, though, so it'll probably be this coming weekend. I've read some pretty good things about it. We'll see.

It wasn't on sale, unfortunately, at $170. They did have the flux core feed unit on sale for $99, and I almost went that route instead. For some reason, I just went with the stick.

Print those free flashlight coupons out, and store a bunch of them in your vehicle door side pocket.
.......Put a bunch in each vehicle you own!

These are excellent and with 20% off a great deal for $8. I put one on the trailer hitch, the other on top of the hitch ball and back up until they touch. Just by watching in the rearview mirror I can hook up a trailer perfectly on the first try and all by my lonesome. The do break fairly easy so you need more than one pair.

I found a new use for the freebie magnetic flashlight.

I keep a couple stuck on my utility trailer that I store in a tight barn stall. Aside from general nightime use, when I have to back the trailer into its stall I stick the magnets on the back and side of the trailer to light up the wall so I can get the trailer close to the wall without gouging it.
