Trouble with TBN iphone app after iOS10 upgrade

Well I guess misery loves company. I know it is possible to use Tapatalk or just a browser on a smartphone to access TBN but I've grown used to the TBN app, imperfect as it is, and would prefer to continue with it. I've tried Tapatalk in the past but never got familiar enough with it to be comfortable.

Come on TBN admins, get someone to fix the app!

Was this ever addressed? I have the same problem but it waits until I've entered a long answer and then jumps ship. Aggravating.

Still does this on mine with iOS10.2.1 so I can only use the phone to read and not reply.

Yep... same here. I wonder what/why it is taking so long to fix!

Which app are those of you having problems using?
There is one made by Forumrunner which is still listed, but is no longer maintained or updated since 2013ish (small developer made it, the sold it to a larger company who has ignored it and has no interest in updating it) and one made by Tapatalk which is maintained and works pretty well.
I would not expect any updates from the Forumrunner app.

I just checked, mine's Forum Runner (Tractorbynet by End of Time Studios). That's the one that popped up when I went to the tractorbynet website on my phone, so I installed it. I'll have to look for the other one when I have time. Thanks!

The original iPhone app still crashes within a couple of keystrokes. There is however a TBN specific version of TapATalk that I am using to type this response. I still prefer the older app for reading but unless they fix it soon, I'll probably just move to TapATalk.

There is an option in the settings for "subscribed threads" to hide read threads. Threw me for a loop when I switched until I found it.
