The new 1953 Jubilee!

Being non-power steering tractors I believe the additional front end weight might have been what was most noticeable.

The 8 series would pull 3x14s the same speed as the Jubilee would pull 2x14s. :)

I like looking at old cars, trucks, tractors, but don't like using them much anymore.

The only thing I liked better on my 8n than my Massey was the seat suspension, that long spring steel mount would soak up a lot of bumps, the new tractor doesn't have nearly the travel before bottoming out. On the other hand everything else is so much better, being retired I can slow down a bit if it gets too rough. More seat time is not a bad thing is it?:D

I use to think that, but age has changed my perception of time.

The one thing I enjoy about the old Fords is their simplicity. Basic no frills. The only thing I'd like to add to my 631/641 is power steering.

Our 841 had it and sure miss it on our NAA and 600 I now drive just about everything with my thumbs outside the wheel.

Yes, nothing feels quite as special as a spinning steering wheel encountering a digit

Thanks for the pics. Beautiful tractor. Are your tires oversized?? My childhood memory says ours were smaller??

Here's a grainy picture of me pulling a square baler with my Dad on the wagon driving our 641. Also a pic of my cousins sitting on the tractor.
