Kioti NX4510HST
I read quite a few posts about installing 3 remotes on the rear of Kioti tractors, although Kioti says no. I looked on the back of my NX4510HST today to see what if anything was there for info. Sure enough there is a picture of 3 sets of remotes on a sticker on the underside of the body.

Jim, that decal is a hoot! How new is your tractor, and could you describe more specifically where on the underside it's located?

Curious, was it a dealer that said they couldn't install a third rear remote, or did you hear that from Kioti corporate? If the latter, wow, they need to update customer service. Although there technically isn't a "third rear remote kit" offered in the U.S., all that's needed is an additional No. 2 valve body kit, and two longer bolts because of the added thickness: 10-1.25 x 170mm, ideally grade 8.8 or better. Fastenal has them. BTW, my dealer in Mineral, VA did this for me last July when my three-year-old NX was in to have an ECU programming update and a couple of other things.

If Kioti corporate in Wendell is still not recommending using the No. 2 kit as a third remote, maybe it's because the lever will be color-coded (blue) the same as the existing No. 2 lever, rather than green. That's a non-issue, as a practical matter. There is already plenty of room on the stack for a third valve body, as well as a cutout for the cable and a slot for the third lever already in the control console.

BTW, I've heard that a dedicated third remote kit has been available outside of North American for quite a while.

Threepoint, My NX4510 is a 2015. The decal is directly above where my single remote is located. Funny thing is I never saw this decal until yesterday when I was tucking some light wires up under the back of the rear apron. The dealer did not mention this to me. I saw this on TBN in several posts. On this issue of the 3rd valve. I only have one more available slot for a lever. What do you do about the 3rd lever, double the handles up? I believe that the cab version have 3 slots.

Aha, I didn't realize that the lever slots for the rear remotes are different on an open station. If there's no apparent place for a third lever, that makes the decal even more surprising to me. Maybe another open station NX owner will jump in with an answer or a work-around.

Hhhmm, Maybe my tractor was destined to have a cab on it.

Yup, the confusion lies with the difference between cab and non-cab. I was down this same path. I wanted three sets and it turned out you cannot get three on a non-cab- has to do with with the controls: in a cab there's room for three. When I discovered this I put a stop on my order and, with input from several people here, switched to a cab: this issue was just one more thing tilting me toward a cab.

You might be able to get them to install the valve bodies and the second lever and cable, leaving you to figure out how to add on another lever (they might provide it with their kit, in which case you would hope to be able to get it to work for you so you don't have to buy something else).

I would have been able to live with just two remotes. And if push came to shove I would have gone with a diverter valve up front: that would leave me with a spare rear remote; as it is now I'm using one rear remote for a third function (other is for my top link).

Adding another emote to the rear for the 3rd function up front was also on my mind. Right now I only need the one remote that I have in the rear for my hydraulic chipper feed roller and a large wood splitter. I was thinking that a second remote would be used for a tilt cylinder or top link. I think a diverter valve is the way to go for the 3rd remote up front.

Hope someone can guide me in the right direction. I ordered 2 second remotes for my NX5510 (will have 3 remotes total). Then I went hunting for the M10 1.25 x 170mm bolts needed. After contacting Fastenal I was told that there were not any in the good ol USA. According to their website the Canadian group does not support residential sales after January. Have searched the web and still no luck. Please can anyone help. Thanks

Try your dealer. I got my NX5510 with three remotes installed, in which case it's obviously possible.

Hey All,
I'm looking at an NX 5010 and also need additional remotes. Does anyone know about limitations for this model? Not sure the dealer knows a much as you guys (lol).
Thanks,
Ben

I ordered my bolts from Fastenal last year and was impressed they had them to me next day so I found it hard to believe they don't have any. I went to the website, pulled info up, put in shopping cart and sure enough it said they don't have any..wow. I looked to see if they listed longer bolts you could cut down but nothing..Dealers don't have the bolts since Kioti doesn't offer it in the us. I wonder if you could order the bolts from an over seas Kioti dealer?

I posted about a year ago a description with pictures of all the parts, new bolts, Kioti instructions and details of installing them. It's really simple and a couple of hours if you take you time and goof off during...

Non-cab models are limited to two remotes from the factory. Cab models are limited to three. Cabs have the room for the additional lever, and that's the reason they can do three. Doesn't mean, however, that if one has a non-cab model that they cannot add a third remote- just takes figuring out where you'd place another lever (stock offerings might not work, in which case some aftermarket solution might be necessary).

Sometimes you just have to ask Google the right questions ;)

Artic Cat 0001200734.jpg

Searching that part number - best price I could find was here: Arctic Cat 423-723 - Screw, Cap : Babbitts Online

In general I would also suggest Auto Parts stores, Tractor Supply, as well as possibly Lowes & Home Depot though I doubt they would carry anything that long.

For you specifically, I would suggest taking that part number to Ron Ayers on S. Main in Rocky Mount (Behind Riverside Minute Market at Main & Scuffling Hill) and see what he can get for you.

Best of luck.

Thanks to all that responded with my request for help with finding these bolts. And a big thanks for the Part # from countrybumpkin. Called the dealer back with this number and he looked it up on the online parts system only for it to say "Not in stock". He offered to call parts distribution and he said they could order it by adding additional number or numbers to the end. They are on the way!:dance1:
This forum is so great because people like you make it that way.
