Hello everyone! I have farmed all my life and try to do equipment repairs myself. In the year 2000 I began to use the internet to help solve problems and to order parts. It is amazing to me how the internet as evolved and I believe you can find answers to nearly every question you can imagine. In recent years with social media apps like TractorByNet we are able to share from our experiences and help each other solve problems. This is a great tool and saves me both time and money. Thanks in advance for the assistance I will receive in the future!

Welcome here also. I to have been involved in farming most of my life. There were breaks because of a time in the navy, the big D stopped it and put things on hold for longer than I wanted but couple years ago finally settled everything and got a small place and am also retired so it now full time small farming. Started on a diary farm in Minnesota. Milked 70 cows, had a few stock cows, dabbled in raising a few Bulls, pigs, sheep and a few horses over the years. Was my grandmothers and uncles farm and where i stayed most of my younger life until my twenties. Have a few Holstein steers, and couple dozen chickens and couple pigs now. No crop farming just pastures and hay to deal with. Of course a garden thru in there also. Hard to start over but things are coming together and nothing like having a small piece of country to keep busy on and enjoy what you want to do. Im located over by hardinsburg and really like the area. Glad to see another local area join.
