Trespassers shot

Some people don't seem to realize that something you post online can come back to haunt you, if you ever do shoot someone. The jury would be most interested in your backhoe!

What cracks me up is not ever knowing what the other guy is carrying of how big of a THUG will be coming at me. Your .38 will feel like a mosquito bite unless you hit the head or heart to a 350 pound crack head. You only get "one shot" to get it right in an altercation. Also you .38 is useless against a bear hiking in the woods, sooooo, ya go ahead carry your pea shooter I'll stick with my Glock or .357 hollow points

I'm in Ohio, only bears we got here are black bears and there more skittish then the deer, I have spent countless hours in the woods and have yet to even encounter a black bear, so I will not be shooting any bears.

As for the crack addict, idk what movies you watch but people on drugs aren't invincible, if anything heroin would num them but even then, they would be too high to function enough, most likely they will just give up and leave once you show them they can't get money for more drugs.

And the last bit of info I will leave you with is you will lose trying to pull your Dirty Harry within 15ft if someone has a knife, knifes are faster so don't rely on your side arm to do all the work. I would suggest trying to talk them down first.

Also if you say your glock is a 9mm I'm gonna laugh after making fun of my .380 (AKA 9mm Browning)

I knew a guy with an antique walking cane that was a .410. Who would ever see that coming?

Most Glock owners seem to have it in .40 cal.
I would NEVER carry a semi-auto (Glock) without a safety.
More likely to shoot yourself accidentally, than to ever use it on a "perp".

Really?

Could you point me to some spec's that back that up?
I know of a LOT of people that have been shot by Glocks.
Is this what is happening to all these cops that are being shot? That's what the majority of Police departments are carrying now.

As a side note, most video's & reports I see show the bad guys RUNNING the other way as soon as a defensive gun is deployed.
Caliber or accuracy doesn't seem to matter.

Nothing wrong with a Glock.... some operators should steer away from them though. Just like geared tractors with clutches... nothing wrong with 9mm either. :)

You are certainly welcome to carry a Glock, without a safety, in your pocket as often as you want.
You probably enjoy riding a Harley without a helmet too.
In my book, it just ain't smart!
Whatever makes you feel good, is just fine with me.

Same here, I live at the end of one mile gravel road, of which I own the last quarter mile.

I've never liked the "Trespass here, get shot here" and "If you can Read This, your in Range" type warning signs, too much of a legal hassle if I ever did have to shoot someone.

So what I put up are "Keep Out - Shooting Range" signs. They seemed to have put a damper on the number of "tourists" that drive onto my property just to see the view.

Of course, that still leaves the problem of the Trespassing Slob Hunters from next door...... :(

Good plan. Agreed putting up those antagonistic signs is just plain stupid.

Safety on a pistol in your pocket can be nudged from SAFE to BLOW YOUR KNEECAP OFF fairly easy. So, I would advise that you get a proper holster. Just like the pro's. Safeties don't make any loaded gun safe... even if you had a dozen.
