Thanks, that is a very nice view of the axle arrangement. But I am not sure I would have chosen to flip it over by that mudhole.

Inspections and keeping things in good shape mitigate risk.
Have I ever been under a load suspended by hydraulics, yes. Do I make a habit of it, no. But sometimes there isn't another reasonable way.

Agree, but we need a follow up photo of Xfaxman's shorts. I'm sure he'll blame it on the mud.

At least my front axle is stronger than the rear and doesn't pivot, making the loader more stable with a load. Here is a good view of it.
Looks like my dog when he wants tummy rub!

The end of the tape measure is right at 13' at the top of the face cut and the bottom cut is right at 14'; I'm gonna call this one 13.5'. 24" top end, 28" at the bottom; 3,375 lbs according to the woodweb calculator posted above.
