I run 91 octane and Stabil for my small motors(two strokes)+lawn mower. If you have marinas in the area they should have non-ethanol.Aviation fuel would be cheaper than canned gas.

kenr74, I take your assessment with a large grain of salt. Being you sell a competitive brand of TruFuel you couldn't help but be a little biased toward using canned fuel, could you?

Years ago, ethanol blended gasoline became the only gas available in my are. Then I started using 89 octane gas with the recommended amount of Sta-Bil gas treatment in all my gas engine driven equipment and never do anything different between seasonal use. I have never had any fuel caused problems to be concerned with. Not even in my 38 year old JD 318 garden tractor.

I also don't think all of the fuel system problems experienced by some people is attributed to the ethanol blended gas alone.

Where's your proof it isn't?? SR
It doesn't say it is??? I guess we can chock this up to a bs claim until you or anyone else provides proof. I'm guessing you don't have any or you'd have been quick to prove me wrong on several previous times I've called you out on it. I've checked before I called you out in the past and all I could find was its regular gas ( E0 ) with synthetic oil with a fuel stabilizer. Back to the original topic. Lucky I can still buy E0 pump gas and that's what I burn in all of my small engines. I've never had any issues and I've burned fuel up to a year old. I tend to go through fuel relatively quickly and it rarely sets for more than a few months

The truth is, I'm just sick of your unfounded BS "call me outs", so I'm going to let you suffer with this one. lol

Exactly the response I expected. Please explain why the BS call was unfounded.

I use it occasionally for the convenience. Usually in the summertime because I don't run my chainsaw at and my string trimmer sparingly, so I just grab a can from Lowes or HD on occasion.

In the winter when I'm cutting with saw, I usually throw the trufuel in the saws when I won't be cutting again for awhile too, but it's too expensive to run exclusively.

I also just run my 50:1 through the lawnmower when I have leftover mix from wood-cutting season.

2 years ago I went to 87 Octane E10 and Staybil 360 Marine and have not had a problem since. Don't drain anything. I buy E10 50 GL at a time and use 100 GL/yr. That seems like a good test to me. Carbs have not been looked at in the 2 years.

I'd never heard of canned gas before last year. I did buy a can and use it in chainsaw and tiller. Seems to me it was about eight dollars. Being in East Texas I never know when it is going to be the last time for the season so gonna keep using it. Always used regular unleaded in past but gonna use premium in four wheelers. Also added some Lucas oil to tanks on four wheelers, zero turn mower, and diesel truck.

I guess I shouldn't tell you how much Sta-Bil I sell then eh? Great product also for the right user.

I won't be retiring from the money I make on canned fuel. Just trying to add some value to the topic since I have some info.

Like I said, I run more pump gas than canned fuel but there is definitely a user group that canned fuel is perfect for.

I swear by Tru Fuel. Used in string trimmer and blower for 7 seasons and not 1 problem with the equipment. Fuel sits in equipment all winter and starts right up in spring. One trip to small engine shop buys a lot of tru fuel. It does give a faster throttle response. Also use 93 octane 100% gas with Briggs and Stratton stabilizer in Garden tractor. No engine or carb issues in 7 seasons. Live in South Carolina near the coast with high humidity. E10 here does not last very long without going bad no matter what you put in it. (I know there are a lot of people that use E10 plus stabilizer and NEVER had a problem with it) I am happy for you but it was nightmares for me.
