Why do my pictures show sideways on TBN?

How does the forum look on a computer vs a phone? I have only used my phone, I don't even own a computer. I use one at work for work related stuff but that's it.

Agreed and it is annoying. Same with multiple pic postings. I have to post them one at a time and I'm not sure if it's my problem or theirs. On a similar site I can post multiples so probably not me.

Most sites automatically resize pictures because there are too many people that are too lazy to learn how to resize them. It's not even a little bit difficult on a phone or on a PC, so there's no excuse for it.

The problem happens even when the image is hosted on another server and simply linked into posts here as well. So it is simply an issue with the way this site is handling the orientation metadata.

As stated before, opening in MS-Paint or equivalent, rotating it to some off angle and saving it, then rotating it back to the proper orientation again and saving it again will correct the issue with the way TBN handles the image. If it is a huge image and you want to resize it for our rural friends with slow internet, Paint can do that too. It doesn't require installing extra software.

They aren't on another but on my computer and came off my camera card.

I do an edit to correct the size and orientation of the picture so that's not it.
