I hope he has things lined up so in case of an accident, he's not living solely off the generosity of others. Sadly in most cases it is nothing more than a rather thoughtless way to seek a thrill... I never have thought too highly of the "ooo look at me!" types.

Going back to the Bonneville situation- say the RV driver paid for a tow truck to pull him out. So who pays for the big mess (so many vehicles stuck)? The RV driver?

Seems like they need some big steel sheets under the wheels to spread their weight out when they start pulling/winching.

As for something under the wheels - it wouldn't be difficult for the tow truck to take along some railroad ties when he goes out for a Salt Lake extrication. I'm surprised at least the final truck didn't do this.

The driver was in the truck, I just blacked out his face. He wasn't too excited that I took some pictures after asking if he had someone coming.
