2210 PTO Issue

Ok guys. I've read a lot of the 2210 threads on broken gears and carnage. I was tilling, I hit a rock, slip clutch slipped like it was supposed to. I got Rock out and restarted. Went about 6 more feet and PTO stopped working. I figured for sure it was bad.
I checked all the fuses, all good, Checked the switch, it was working. Checked PTO solenoid and had power there. Pulled solenoid out and didn't see any issues. Energized solenoid out of tractor and it pulls valve just like it should.
So after all that I was hanging my head low knowing the rear gears/housing was broke.
Pulled the rear cover off, all the gears and housing are good. Both shafts spin well, shifter moves well from mid to rear PTO.
I am out of options. Any ideas?

The tilling was pretty rough, but slip clutch slipped like it was supposed to.
When you have mid Mount selected, rear shaft turns nice, same when you select rear, the mid turns good.
Oil looks good, removed filters and no debris in there either.

So absolutely nothing happens when you engage the PTO? Does the PTO shaft spin free when the PTO is disengaged? My 4400 has a brake so you can't turn the PTO shaft when it's turned off...not sure if a 2210 is similar.

So absolutely nothing happens when you engage the PTO? Does the PTO shaft spin free when the PTO is disengaged? My 4400 has a brake so you can't turn the PTO shaft when it's turned off...not sure if a 2210 is similar.

If you select Mid mount PTO, it will not spin but the rear one does, if you select rear PTO it wont spin but then the mid does.
When it is running it doesn't make any noises, nothing unusual. The FEL and 3 pt hitch, along with power steering all work normal.
It didn't make any noise when it stopped working either.

I ordered a new gasket and solenoid. Just because I can energize on the bench, doesn't mean it will actually work under hydraulic pressure.
While I was on the phone I ordered a new seat, after all it is 14 years old and the only thing I have done is put on a new belt for the deck. After 720 hours, I guess I can do that and feel okay about it.

Got everything back together with new solenoid. Still no PTO.
Any ideas?

Ok boys and girls. I thought I would share what the outcome was since I just got it back and going Friday.
The snap ring on the PTO clutch pack failed and the clutches came out of the drum.
It didn't tear much up, needed a piston and snap ring. $1000 labor and she is good as new, well as good as 720 hours anyway.
