Guess they made me a liar. Now won't have it setup until tomorrow. Go out to sign papers after work today.

52in is big for a 1/3 acre. Hoping it works for you... if you have tight spaces, the 42 will be a better friend.

There are a couple areas that I will have to raise the chute to go through but that's it.

If your ground is relatively even you will be fine. Hopefully no four foot fence gates. I mow my neighbors grass and it is not level or smooth. I am 'on' my 'elevation' pedal and getting better each time so I don't scalp. The larger the platform the less control you have. If you are mowing a flat or even surface, the 52in will do just as well and faster! Enjoy!!!

95% of the ZTR's I see never drop their chutes. I've yet to put mine down. My neighbor did with his Dixon bought mid-season, then pulled it up and left it after mowing juicy grass the next spring. I almost put it down yesterday, mowing in hurricane force winds that preceded the front that came through. Almost. I only occasionally see one lowered when they are mowing near a parking lot full of targets...I mean cars.

Mowed for the first time yesterday. Found one area I have to trim back/up so I don't hit branches while mower but other than that didn't have too much trouble. Added approx .5 hours by the time I finished.
