Bought from my friend get it next week, my question what is the shift pattern knob is faded and can't read it?

Your 3510 should be the same as my 4110 - you can take a piece of fine sandpaper and sand the cloudy plastic to see the medallion below with the pattern on it. My tractor has lived it's whole life totally outside in the weather - 16 years, and I've done this a couple of times. The left shifter is the range trans., low-mid-high ranges. The right shifter is the 4 speed main trans. in a typical "H" pattern with 1st the closest to the seat (lower left leg of the H).

Thanks I have done that to my truck headlights, I was hoping it would work on knobs.
