Guys,
We ended up replacing the battery but we're still having issues. I am definitely no JD mechanic so I need some help!

I put my voltmeter on the solenoid and starter, and they both showed 12v with the ignition OFF.
We tried following wires to see if anything came undone, but we didn't find anything. Checked fuses, all good. There was one lead which didn't have anything attached. It was so dirty it didn't look it it had ever been attached to anything. Its in the picture.

If theres something else we can try before we call the dealer, please advise! Or, I could not be testing something correctly.
Thank you!

I assume you still hear and see the solenoid clicking and moving when the key is turned to "on"..
Is it the same response now as in the video?

Here is a pic of my 455 today.. and one connector is not connected.

WOW. Yours is much cleaner!
Thats correct, when turning the key it will click, the glow light will eventually go off after a few seconds, you turn the key to start but it won't crank or even turn over.
Thank you.

The one used connector is for the hood switch (European Export model only)

So we have not found a solution for the "won't crank" over... and I did notice your radiator screen is caked with dirt.. might want to get that so the air will flow through with no restrictions.. but hope you find the problem that it won't turn over.

The first thing I would recommend is that you remove both circuit boards from their mounting. Before you do this, disconnect the negative battery connector.

Carefully mark or photograph the location of the boards and their connectors. With the boards removed, clean up the area.

Take the boards and wash them with soap and water. If any of the relays or fuses plug in, take them out first. Let the boards dry overnight. If the relays unplug, scrape the contacts so that they are shinny. Also look at the connector terminals. If they are cloudy, scrape them also.

Plug the relays and fuses back in and put the boards back in there location. Plug the connectors back into the boards.

Give it a try, see what happens.

Sounds like the starter to me. Have you measured the voltage at the starter when trying to turn the engine over? Is the solenoid part of the starter? If so can you measure the voltage coming out of it to the starter? If it doesn't drop then I would pull the starter. I often take them apart to see if something looks bad before replacing it. You could check the resistance between the power wire and ground.
