Regenerative braking help?No way that Prius has the brakes to stop that 5000+lb trailer package.
From the drivers' perspective - Heck, I've got a trailer hitch, a trailer and a Jeep that needs to be transported. If I wasn't supposed to be towing anything, then why did they make trailer hitches to fit my Prius?
Maybe I should get an air lift kit to keep the rear end level?
At best, that's a Class II receiver on the car, 3500 lbs max trailer weight, if it's a Class I, then 2000 lbs max trailer weight. Max towing on a Prius is less than 1600 lbs.
