Oil & Fuel 3032e Technical Manual Correct Fuel Filter Info

I am frustrated with this technical manual. I have a 610000+ serial 3032e, and the TM127919 manual. The fuel filter info listed in the tech manual is WRONG. It references the old style Tiere 3 (pre 610000 serials) engine setup, with screen filter and secondary filter. The newer ones have a primary paper filter (inside water seperator) and a final fuel filter. But this is supposedly the right manual. Anyone know what's going on? I now cannot rely on this technical manual. They also gave me the wrong user manual with wrong info regarding this.

Manuals are very difficult to keep perfectly up-to-date.. but very frustrating when found to be out of date.

Don't be too frustrated.. still takes some common sense on our part to interpret and verify what is there and not there.

In this environment of computers it should be a no brainer to keep manuals up to date - especially part numbers.

I don't mind using brain and common sense to decipher manuals, but I'm not going to know if a valve clearance is WRONG or something that will damage the engine later on. Or any other data that I wouldn't know unless I was engineer designing the engine.

As far as verifying, the correct into was not there in the manual, I had to go to dealer and get part numbers. It has a totally different setup on the primary fuel filter / water separator

Had same issue with my 3038e, finally took old filter to dealer.

Seems elementary to expect right info in a 150+ dollar manual. The user manual is one thing, but I payed a lot for the technical one!

Haha wow. Well the online USER manual has the correct info. My paper one did not, ridiculous.
