My mf 135 gas with a Perkins 3 cyl. Seems to be running rich, I be ieve the float is adjust properly, it also has a new needle and seat. Idles ok, I think it is a carb problem because when I go up hill it cuts out, this is the zeienth econo mizer carb,,all jets and orifices clean, can a carb just be bad?? Any suggestions?? Before I buy a new carb??

Just a thought and unlikely unless it happens all the time but is the gas cap vent plugged? How's the gas flowing out of the end of the hose, nice fat stream not a drizzle. . If it's drizzling check the cap and if it has an inner tank filter is there gunkmom it? Leaves, bark gunk floating around the bottom sometimes covering it up.
Not familiar wit your tractors specifics but does it happen to have one of those old fashioned tank bottom located glass filter , sediment globes? If so that is often the trouble. Those things that I always thought so cool are really the devil. I had numerous issues with mine for years with the coke seal then almost lost my farmall pushin brush in a fire pit. It stalled one too many times in the wrong place. I immediately yanked both of mine stuck in an inline and they never stumbled again.
If it's nothing like that try seafoam. if it's been running on especially stored with ethanol gas the carb may well be corroded up internally. I truly hate that stuff for and avoid unless desperate in small engines.
