I didn't want to read threw 7 pages of comments so I apologize if this has been covered.

I plan on buying a bolt on tooth bar for digging up sod, if I were wanting to use the loader on a pile of crushed limestone to spread on the driveway, will that damage the bar? Best to unbolt it?

I leave my piranha tooth bar on my 72" bucket all the time. For everything.
...Used it to move and distribute 22 tons of free junk rock/gravel/clay mix
There were rocks in it as big as footballs. And it was packed tight, as it had been rained on and set a couple weeks after it was dumped on property

.. No damage done to my tooth bar, and I know it made digging out the pile much easier than just the smooth bucket edge.

I was more concerned about a pile of pure smaller crushed limestone, I would think the rocks would chew up and dull the teeth, maybe even chip them under continuous use.

No way! Piranha Tooth Bars are amazingly tough. I've been banging mine into rocky soil, moving gravel, etc. for several years now. 300 hrs anyway...

Yeah they worked great. They actually shelf sharpen I think due to the profile. Kinda like sharpening a chisel.

Actually I have yet to hear a negative complaint about PTB's! Honestly I don't see why they aren't OEM.

They have a delay of two weeks on orders lol

I just noticed there the ones who make the piranha tooth bar lol, I was thinking it was just a brand of attachment. I will call and order one tomorrow I guess.
