6000 will not turn to left

I own a Mahindra 6000 that will not turn to the left. I have replaced the steering cylinder, to no avail. The fluid seems to be seriously overheating and I have now noticed power steering fluid coming from the steering column. Could the reservoir be stuck or bad? What is causing the overheating? Could there be a stuck valve or bad pump?
I have no idea what to do next.

There is a valve of some kind on the steering column. Follow the lines to it. That is where the fluid is directed left or right and how much goes in each direction. I am no hydraulic specialist but you can start there. Maybe someone with more knowledge about it can chime in.

In the steering column there is what is called an orbital valve. The orbital valve (steering control unit) directs hydraulic fluid to either end of the steering cylinder depending on which way you want to go. It's obvious that the so called orbital valve has packed up on you since you've already replaced the steering cylinder.

I guess it's a good thing that I was into rock crawling before I became a tractor owner. When things break down on you when you're way off out in the boondocks, you've gotta either fix it yourself or walk.

It is 2 wheel drive.

Whether it's two or four wheel drive, it doesn't have anything to do with the steering. The basic steering system is the same for either. Since you already have fluid leaking out of the orbital valve, start there. It's either the valve or the plumbing to it but since it's leaking it's likely the valve itself.

The 4wd had a better HSU unit... but a smaller cylinder.... and the 2wd had a common problem of HSU units and also the tire spindle freezing up inside the axle
